Anna Melissa fell in love with skincare in her early 20's, and from working under mentor Bobbi Brown to learning about the French philosophy and culture around skincare working as Head Esthetician for Lierac Paris, she established an incredible reputation in her community and beyond.

She always connected with the messaging behind the beauty and skincare industry--loving how it enabled women (and men!) to feel fabulous about themselves. She believes that helping people to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin is the biggest reward, which fueled the passion and drive to establish her own skincare studio, Skin by Anna Melissa.

Throughout years of connecting with clients and helping them to achieve beautiful skin with tailored European-inspired facials and skincare treatments, crafting her own skincare line was always a "one day" kind of dream.

In 2020, Anna Melissa dove in head first to create DANYA, her natural skincare line inspired by the idea of taking home a Skin by Anna Melissa facial. A limited range packed full with powerful multi-tasking products drives home Anna Melissa's philosophy that less is more, and especially when it comes to sensitive or troubled skin, over-stripping is never the answer!

She wanted to bring an effective, natural range of skincare products to the market that would not only calm and treat sensitive and reactive skin across the board, but also be accessible. DANYA products are all natural, with a selected few ingredients Certified Organic to keep the line affordable. Elderberry, for instance, an antibacterial powerhouse, is a staple in the line and also a Certified Organic ingredient.
